guys i swear this city just cannot do normal rain. either it’s sunny or it’s like “welcome to atlantis, population: us”. woke up n boom — black sky, nonstop rain like some netflix apocalyptic movie.
and guess what? IMD dropped a RED ALERT 🚨 outta nowhere. like oh we were chillin with a yellow alert 2 mins ago and now it’s thunder+lightning+gusty winds+drama alert??
also colaba hit like 295mm rain which apparently broke a 1918 record?? this rain's older than our great grandparents istg some places literally got 200+ mm just this morning. marine lines, nariman point, byculla — washed tf out.
and this ain’t even pre-monsoon anymore ok?? monsoon is HERE and she didn’t even knock. barged in like that annoying cousin at weddings 10 days early. last time this happened was like 35 yrs ago. y’all, nature’s on hyper mode fr.
